Cars 9.30 to SIMONSBATH (Exmoor, grid SS 774393). 7 ½ miles via River Barle, Cow Castle and Picked Stones. Tea at Simonsbath.

Wednesday 8th August

Bus No.85 from Exeter Bus Station, 9.10 am to Maidencombe. Walk +/- 8 miles to Dawlish via coast path (some steep climbs and descents). Return by bus which runs every half hour.

Sunday 12th August

Cars 9.30 to HADDON HILL (car park, grid 969285 - 5 miles from Bampton on B3190 where leaders will meet). 8¾ miles via Haddeo Valley and Wimbleball Lake. One possible slippery/muddy area if after recent heavy rain.

Train 8.25am from St. Davids to SHERBORNE, Dorset. Walk 9 - 10 miles in area and return by 16.28pm train arriving Exeter 17.36pm. Check train times with leader.

Cars 9.00 to BIGBURY - ON - SEA (grid SX 651442 ), 10 miles via coast path, Beacon Point, Kingston and Ringmore. Some steep climbs and descents.
