Wednesday 2nd July 2008, for 3 nights.

Venue

Nythfa House, on the edge of Brecon. This is a converted large country house with its own landscaped garden. All the rooms are en-suite and are either single, twin or double. The house has its own indoor swimming pool, boot/drying room lounge and bar.

Cost

Basic cost is £209 per person. We intend travelling in our own cars and passengers will pay our usual mileage rate. So transport to and from Brecon plus the toll over the Severn Bridge will be £25. TOTAL £234. If we get more than 25 people it is possible this total will be reduced. It is advisable to have insurance and HF can offer this for an additional £10.50.
You may arrange your own insurance. No single supplement.

Included

Bed & breakfast, the famous HF self select packed lunch and three course evening meal, plus transport to and from the guided walks on Thursday and Friday (led by HF leaders) and a packed lunch for your journey home.

Itinerary

Wednesday - arrive at lunch time and do a short walk in the local area, led by Rob Dightam, one of our experienced members (provide your own lunch). We then book in to Nythfa House.
Thursday and Friday - HF will put on a choice of guided walks for us. Easy, 5 - 8 miles, Medium, 7 - 11 miles and Harder 9 - 12 miles.
Saturday - book out of Nythfa and then do a short walk in the local area, again led by Rob.
There is also the choice to do your own thing - visit the cathedral, explore the market, military museum or canal - plenty.

Deposit

A deposit of £60 per person (£70.50 if you require HF insurance) must be received by Wednesday 24th October. Please make your cheque payable to HF Holidays Ltd., and don't forget to date and sign it. Only correctly completed cheques and forms will be accepted as a definite booking, as places and single rooms in particular are limited.
